Deliver - Emails & Notifications

How to manage your own email preferences and view the notification activity log for a specific program from the Deliver tab.

The Emails & Notifications section in the Deliver tab lets team members manage their own email preferences for a program and view a log of every notification sent to participants. It has two sub-pages: Preferences and Notifications Activity Log.

Note: The preferences here control emails for this specific program only. To manage your platform-wide email preferences, go to your profile settings.

Preferences

Preferences shows the email categories available to you as a team member for this program. Select or deselect the checkbox next to any category to update your preference. Select Subscribe to All or Unsubscribe from All to update every optional category in one step.

Some categories may be greyed out and cannot be changed. Which categories are locked is controlled by your platform's unsubscribe settings.

  • Program Essentials — important program emails including enrolments, completions, and assessment results. Always on and cannot be unsubscribed from.
  • Program Updates — general announcements and updates about changes or news within the program.
  • Social Learning — notifications about comments, reactions, and discussions in the program community.
  • Tasks — notifications about task submissions, assessments, feedback, and completion status.
  • Session Reminders — alerts about upcoming live sessions, webinars, and scheduled program events.
  • Applications — updates about program applications, from submission through to approval or decision.
  • Reports — periodic summaries and reports about learner progress.

Notifications Activity Log

The Notifications Activity Log shows a record of every email and platform notification sent for this program. The table is horizontally scrollable and includes 13 columns grouped into three areas:

Recipient & Notification Details
Recipient Name The name of the person the notification was sent to.
Email Address The email address the notification was delivered to.
Notification Subject The subject line or title of the notification.
Notification Category The email category, such as Program Essentials or Program Updates.
Delivery Mode How the notification was sent: Email, Platform Notification, or Platform Notification & Email.
Date Created
The date and time the notification was created.
Email Tracking
Email Sent Status The delivery status of the email, such as Opened, Sent or Unsubscribed.
Email Sent Date The date and time the email was sent.
Email First Open Date The date and time the email was first opened by the recipient.
Email Latest Open Date The most recent date and time the email was opened.

Please note: Email tracking can sometimes be unreliable, as things like specific security settings/software may mark an email as opened on our tracking, when it hasn't actually been.

In-app notification tracking
Notification Read Status Whether the in-app notification has been read.
Notification First Read Date The date and time the notification was first read.
Notification Latest Read Date The most recent date and time the notification was read.

Filtering the log

Search Search by recipient name or email address.
Delivery Mode Filter by how the notification was sent.
All Delivery Modes · Platform Notification · Email · Platform Notification & Email
Date range Filter by when notifications were sent.

Viewing a Notification

Select the three-dot menu on any row to open the View Notification panel. The panel has two tabs:

  • Notification - Displays the full content of the email or notification that was sent, including the subject, body text, and any dynamic content.
  • Event Log - Shows the delivery history for that notification, including timestamps for key events.
