The Replace Content Tool will delete ALL the pages, sections, content and tasks from your program and replace them with the pages, sections, content and tasks from another program or program template.
The purpose of this tool is to update your program content if it has changed significantly since you first created the program, but before anyone has started it.
For example, if you publish your full course calendar 12 months ahead of time, your course content may need to be updated in response to changing circumstances or industry developments.
Please note before using this tool:
The Replace Content Tool will NOT replace the program settings, onboarding content, custom emails or other features outside of the program pages (highlighted below).
If your program has Groups set up, they will not be deleted, but the groups from the program the content is being replaced from will be added.
You may only use this tool if the program is not yet active. Before using this tool, the Lock Classroom setting in the Details tab must be enabled for active programs.

To use the Replace Content Tool:
- Open the program you wish to replace the content of
- In the Program Overview, Program Settings, Tools tab, Launch the Replace Content Tool
- Select the program, or program template from which you want to replace your content
- Ensure you check all of the callout messages, if you are happy with your choice of program, Start Replace Content
- This tool can take a few minutes to work, depending on the amount of content being imported into the program, please be patient


If your program contains online sessions, meeting links will need to be updated, as they will now contain the links from the copied program.
The copied content will follow the same cadence of the program it was copied from, within the parameters of the existing program dates, so if the cadence is different, any dates and times (sessions, due dates, unlock dates etc) will also need to be amended.
