The move Sections and Sessions and copy Pages, Sections and Sessions feature of Academy makes the process of creating learning programs easier and much more efficient by allowing learning designers to copy or move learning content from different programs into their newly created programs.
This article describes the process for moving sections and sessions and copying pages, sections and sessions. You can also move and copy individual content items and tasks. Read about how to do this here.
To copy Pages:
- Open desired program where the page is to be added
- Select the “Add Page/Divider” option, select “Copy Page”
- Select the desired source, program and page you wish to copy
- Populate the Page Title to display in your current program
To copy or move Sections or Sessions:
- Open desired program Page you would like to move or copy Sections or Sessions into
- Select the “Add Section or Session" option
- In the ‘Existing Content’ tab, select whether you want to:
Copy - Duplicate a Section or Session from another program or program template
Move - Move a Section or Session from elsewhere in the same program, to this location instead
- If copying, select the source, program and page the section you want to copy comes from, and the section itself
- If moving, select the page you want to move the section from, and the section itself
